Transforming an Event Space with Graphics

A successful event hosted by a brand will transform the event venue into a space of their own during the happening. At c2 Imaging, we have plenty of experience in producing printed materials to assist in transforming an event space.

Transforming an Art Museum

One example was an event for Hunter Douglas and involved branding multiple areas of The Denver Art Museum (DAM). The DAM is an exceptional and beautiful modern building. As such, the graphic execution needed to be 100% brilliant.

Timing is Everything

In many cases, like the Hunter Douglas event, corporate events use venues that are utilized for other purposes, which leaves the graphics installer with one little problem; time. For this event, we needed to completely transform the space in under an hour and a half. The museum was open to the public up until 5:00pm the day of the event, which started promptly at 6:30pm. Careful consideration had to be taken to ensure that all of the branding elements could be installed in such a short amount of time. A thorough analysis of the space, careful planning around restrictions and the expertise of our C2 Imaging sales and production teams resulted in a flawless installation that left all attendees speechless.

Graphic elements included:

  • Custom steel fabricated frames that encased the existing columns and enabled the install crew to wrap large panels around them for a soft and rounded column graphic.
  • A  fabric print that attached to an existing curtain track to cover a wall graphic.
  • 13 panels that hung over an existing art wall, without damaging the current prints. This created a lively collage using product and lifestyle imagery from Hunter Douglas.
  • A number of directional and other Hunter Douglas branded free-standing signage to carry the theme of the event through the entire museum.
